Day 34 - Retro Thursday!

Flash back to June: it's 90 degrees, rain is a distant memory, and you need something that you don't have to water 2 times a day:
Try Canna 'Australia' surrounded by Coleus 'Pat Martin' and New Wonder Scaevola. These containers get watered well 4 times a week. Low bowls that get nothing but rain water sit at this container's feet filled with sedums, portulaca, Caliente Coral geranium, and echeveria.

This is a close up of Canna Australia in bloom.

You have a wonderful eye for scale in your arrangements, in addition to color and texture. Also, must say the rose in your blog title is stunning. Arrests me each time I open a new page.

Thanks, Kathryn Grace, for stopping by the blog! That rose is from my garden, right outside by back door - a climbing rose called High Society.
I appreciate your comments.
