Day 65 - A Low Growing Winter Windowbox
This window box provided a little bit of a challenge due to windows that cranked outward to open. Everything needed either to be low enough for the window to open over the plant or flexible enough to handle the brushing back of the window. I filled it with Acorus Ogon, Erica darleyensis (Mediterranean Heather Pink), some Iseli dwarf chamaecyparis, Autumn Fern, and a few purple pansies. This client was thrilled to have a winter window box planting, especially one where they could open their windows on those great Tennessee warmer fall or winter days.
