The Growing Zone - Day 46

One of the harsh realities of growing is the inevitability of dying.
Today's post is for one of my sons' most lively high school friends, Meredith Fara Avery: June 8, 1991 - December 17, 2011. This beautiful gypsy girl had a passion about life that was inspirational, a faith in Christ that was genuine and transforming, and an enjoyment for life that was contagious. Her random pop-up facebook chats - "Hi Mrs. Wise! Are you still planting lots of flowers?" were a reflection of her warm thoughtfulness and engaging heart.

My condolences to all friends and family members of Meredith. While it is so easy to be swept by the death of a loved one, it takes a strong character to admire the life of the loved one instead.
Thank-you, Rui. A sudden loss is difficult to process - she was killed in a one-car accident last night. Her family has a difficult road ahead of them.
Meredith was a tenderhearted and special person. Love to Don, Fara, Amelia, their family and Meredith's baby Phinn.
My heart and prayers goes out to their family. God has a plan for everyone... we may not understand WHY right now - but someday!
