Win A Potting Scoop from DeWit Garden Tools!

Check out this new potting scoop I was able to trial from DeWit Garden Tools. My friend, Shawna Coronado - a gal who "is making a difference by building social good with a sustainable lifestyle message" - helped to develop this tool drawing from her experience planting containers both for herself and others. I used mine last weekend when I was getting my garden beds ready for late winter plantings. The  bag ripper notch is a fabulous addition to a potting scoop and the raised sides help hold more soil as I finished off filling up my planted containers. Heavy duty yet lightweight, this is a welcome addition to my gardening tools.

Here's your chance to win this great new tool! Just enter through the Rafflecopter below and a winner will be randomly selected on February 10.

Congratulations to Jan Barnette on winning the DeWit Garden Tool!

With my RSD I've had to stop the major gardening but I must garden and can do many minor ones. I love to plant, sow seeds, weed by hand (though a hula hoe by one if my kids is faster). I find because of my hands being compromised I use a trowel less than a hand rake. I think the potting shovel is a smart tool and it could help with container gardening.

I adore the design of this scoop, and the bag ripper is icing on the cake! How many times am I stuck in the greenhouse without scissors or a knife? LOVE it! Thanks for hosting this great giveaway! Cheers!
