A Deckbox You'll Want to Keep Out Year-round
Yesterday I had coffee with the delightful Martha Hjorth to go over some ideas for her back yard and she showed me one of the prettiest and most affordable deckboxes that I've seen in a while. Now, I'm a stickler about folks buying these lovely little planters that only hold about 2 inches of soil then whine about how they can't grow anything. Unless you are growing something succulent-like, YOUR PLANTS NEED SOIL TO GROW IN. Martha's deckbox fit the bill for my container snobbery. Deep, wide, and long enough to make an impact on your porch or patio and will hold enough soil to keep things growing throughout the summer.
