Day 212 - The Patriot

This very timely container picture was sent to me today by my comrade-in-trowel, Denise Meier, from Dallas, Texas. Red geraniums, Midnight blue petunia, white Bacopa - makes me want to stand up and sing "God bless America."
My oldest son, Jonathan, who is a Marine in Afghanistan right now, would roll his eyes if I told him that I dedicated a blog post about container gardening to honor his service to our country. So this Patriotic Planter is to remind all of us to remember to pray for and thank God for all our armed services men and women, and for their dedication to our country.
